Relative hosting is a method of serving a web site without registering a domain name. An example of a relative domain name is: www.planetc.com/companyname this type of hosting is less expensive and can be just as cost effective as a full domain name.

How do I get relative hosting?

Step 1: Determine an address www.planetc.com/(something) and type it into your internet browser. If you see a screen that says "404 not found", that URL is available. If you see some content then that URL is already in use and you will have to pick something else.
