Planet Connect began operations in a small shopping center in Newport, TN in 1993 offering dial-up internet. By 2004 Planet Connect had grown to serve over 17 counties throughout East Tennessee and some parts of Virginia, and added wireless internet to its list of offered services. The Planet Connect offices now reside in an Industrial Park in Dandridge, TN and continue to provide Internet to homes across the East Tennessee area.
