ANTENNA LOCATION:
Viking mountain is one of the tallest mountains in East Tennessee. At almost 5,000 feet above sea level the view from Viking is tremendous. The mountain is easily seen up to 50 miles from the base of the mountain. There are very few locations in Greene county that can not see Viking. The Planet Connect wireless Internet antennas are located at the top of the mountain next door to the Channel 39 TV tower.

SITE INFORMATION:
This mountain is so tall that it is possible to get a good line of site from 20 to 50 miles away. Beyond 10 or 15 miles the signal my not be strong enough from the output of our regular radio.
