NEWPORT, TENNESSEE
CURRENT STATUS:
The site is now operational servicing subscribers in the Newport area.
ANTENNA LOCATION:
Unlike most of our other tower locations which are using cellular and paging towers, the Newport antenna site is on top of a local water tank. This tank is located on a hill just east of the Eastport bridge next to the county water plant. There is a cell phone tower next to the water tank but our antennas are mounted on the top of the water tank. ( see the picture ). When checking your line of site for Newport, make sure you look for the top of the water tank.
