Wasteful downloading and other abuses often ruin many good high bandwidth systems. A small number of users overload the system and prevent regular users from getting good performance.

The Planet Connect wireless system is capable of delivering very high speed data to many users simultaneous, but abuse of the system will degrade the speed. In order to keep the system fast, with quick response, certain types of bandwidth use are not allowed. The system is to be used for the following purposes.

ACCEPTABLE USE:

Occasional Downloads

Web page browsing

Email

Game playing

Occasional streaming media

Voice over IP

Chat

UNACCEPTABLE USE:

Constant downloads or Frequent downloads of large files and other material.

Automatic download programs that operate without supervision for long periods of downloads.

Constant streaming media.

Servers that send files or web sites to outside people on the Internet.

Sharing you connection with other homes or businesses.

If you are concerned about the type of things you do on the Internet being a violation of the Planet Connect Wireless Internet policy, contact the company to obtain an answer.

Any subscriber that uses the wireless system agrees to follow the above usage policy. If a subscriber ignores warnings from Planet Connect about unacceptable use, the user may be disconnected and refused service.
